About Us

Rangeen Khidki is an organization dedicated to effective ways of capacity building and life skill development (capacity building: education/ vocational courses/ poverty alleviation) in communities with gender justice at its core. Rangeen Khidki is a group of young professionals working together with the aim to build innovative ways to educate and empower communities from a human rights perspective.

Rangeen Khidki works with urban as well as rural youth and women on Gender & Sexuality, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, mental health, education, and life skills.

Rangeen Khidki envisions a world where all adolescent and young persons across all gender and diversities can access education, information, services and support related to their physical and mental well-being and can grow to their fullest potential as leaders.

Our Strategies

  • Build capacities to make decisions about their bodies among adolescents & young persons across gender and intersection of existing diversities.
  • Capacity building of stakeholders like parents, teachers, CSOs, and service providers to understand the need of young people with respect to their bodies, and to support the availability of services and information without stigma, taboo, or judgment.
  • Mobilize and empower young people through leadership programs centered around peer learning for better access to services, information, and informed choices through workshops.

Our Work

Period Adda

Period Adda is a holistic menstrual health education program meant to support communities and organizations in developing menstrual health and advocacy based interventions and awareness programs.

My Body My Rights

My Body My Rights is our comprehensive gender and sexuality education program. It is a curriculum based capacity building program meant for parents, teachers, educators and organizational staff who work with adolescents and young persons.

Capacity Building

Rangeen Khidki has been facilitating trainings and workshops for multiple stakeholders and NGOs on various issues pertaining to gender, sexual and reproductive health in and around Kolkata.

Consulting

Consulting and Project Implementation through proposal development, project management programs and implementation or designing of programs pertaining to education and health domain with specific focus on gender and sexual rights.

Research

Research and Advocacy of relevant issues pertinent to gender, sexuality and SRHR. Rangeen Khidki Foundation supports organizations and individuals with relevant tools for advocacy using methods of research based studies as well as online social media campaign.

POSH (Prevention Of Sexual Harassment) Consulting

Rangeen Khidki Foundation has certified trainers who can assist in the Internal Committees of POSH in various workplaces. Rangeen Khidki Foundation also conducts trainings on sexual harassment for organizational heads and all employees.
